<text>Folger Park is a very beautiful site, with a couple of benches to sit and read on, as well as trees and some wildlife. There isn’t much traffic in the area so it’s fairly quiet, as well as being very close to a metro stop, which means it’s very accessible. It was redesigned in 1936 by the WPA, and has stayed the same since then, with the design carved on a stone, which I included in my pictures. To document the site I used my phone to take a picture and record it. In the 1930’s they had cameras, but they were not easily portable, and most were only for pictures and couldn’t take a video. It would take a lot of time, money, and commitment in order to film what I got in seconds. So while the pictures are similar, and the park hasn’t changed much, the styles between today and in the ‘30’s is very different.</text>
