Mapping Their Stories

This geo-location map leads you to the many stories of immigrant Americans during the Great Depression era. It allows you to not only read their stories but visually displays the immigrants all over the U.S.A. who were facing similiar problems. Reading through their stories you can find accounts of discrimination, language barriers, and other struggles that made life difficult for Immigrant Americans during the Depression Era. Several of these problems, discrimination and language barriers to be exact, were problems most natural born Americans did not face at the time, making it harder for Immigrant Americans to get through the Great Depression.
