The Scottsboro Trial: Historical Landmarks

The fight to free the Scottsboro Boys was one of the most important anti-racist battles of the 1930s and 1940s. During the various trials, it exposed the racism of the American "justice system" and was the center of a massive solidarity movement initiated and led by the Communist Party. The use of storymaps provides a general reference of the historical landmarks and politcal boundaries showcased through the Scottsboro Trial.
