My reasoning behind creating this exhibit

The New Deal was an era in time that caused significant change in America. Looking at this time through the five senses can make individuals who are studying it understand the time period that much more. From seeing artwork and annotating the importance of the pictures, hearing the presidents voice and traveling through a map made back then opens peoples eyes to how that time period atually was. Just reading a paper about the New Deal takes away from how hands on the entire project was. People had to physically make artifacts, listen to the radio and travel the contient for the New Deal to work. The purpose of this exihbit was to emphasize the work that was done through the senses of people in America.
