The Federal Art Project incorporates citizens touch and sight
The Federal Art Project was created during the New Deal and it focused on painting murals, pictures, making sculptures and more. Communities were also offering art classes for kids which helped ease some tension they could have been feeling due to the depression. Art is a form of therapy and the Art Project really focused on communities.
I chose to use the annotation skill for this because a viewer of my exihbit has to physically click or "touch" the image to show the annotation. I think this correlates well because art is created by being hands on with materials. By doing this it is showing that the community and artists chose to use their sense of touch to bring more art into their country again.
