Exploring these creative works has shown how sharing struggles through creative works helped our nation during the Great Depression. These creative works strived to create unity and community, to call attention to important issues, and to find solace in a shared experience. Some of these works were percieved as protest while some celebrated the things that shone through the veil of darkness in the era.
