Change Over Time

Page Description

In this page, one can see how the original sites changed overtime. One highly interesting thing that is shown is how much the time influences this. For example, as the you will see the West Wing needed to be "moved" in order to accomidate for more people and offices. This is likely due to the start of the Cold War and thus took place during that time. This is just one example of how the time of something happening can also indicate why it happened. Also, when looking at how the sites are in 2019 it is easy to see how much they have or have not changed. This will be explored more in image analysis but often a change can come due to new technology over time such is the case with the Recorder of Deeds building. Overall, using the change of time one can often see why something changed.
