Voyant

• Influence

Through my observations and regulations on voyant tools, I was able to find similarities in routes taken and how people were commonly influenced. I created a corpus consisting of the articles "The Migrant Experience", "The American Yawp" and "Border Patrols: Policing in America" and highlighted Hoover and Roosevelt as they were two big influencers in migration and progression in the 1920s and later. They both influenced people to migrate westward through the New Deal.

Due to the high tarrifs and new tax rates, people also wanted to move away from what they knew, to some place like California where there is nothing but oppertunity.
