Mapping: Arts & Craft Education in 1930s and 40s in New York City

These government programs were inclusive of everyone in the city, and beyond. They seemed to have tried to really empashize the importance of the visual arts, while also allowing for people to learn a trade, most of the times, for free. Whether you were an immigrant, black, white, an adult, teenager, child - it didn't matter. Everyone had access to better themselves, either artistically, intellectually, or professionally.
